About Karen Ranzi, M.A.
Award-Winning Author, Speaker & Founder
Karen Ranzi is mother to two children raised healthfully as vegans, and then raw vegans, award-winning author, internationally acclaimed speaker, holistic health coach, certified raw food chef, speech, language and feeding therapist, and owner of SuperHealthyChildren.com.
In 2017, Karen’s son Marco completed the entire 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail. Her daughter Gabriela is a manager and head raw food chef at Turtle Lake Refuge Wild Foraging Retreat Center in Durango, Colorado.
In 1994, Karen was able to heal her three year old son from asthma, chronic ear infections and multiple allergies, and herself from digestive and skin problems through dietary and lifestyle changes. By means of her education, life-changing personal experiences, and sincere desire to share her message, Karen has been able to guide thousands toward developing excellent health.

Karen has authored and published her groundbreaking
book, Creating Healthy Children: Through Attachment Parenting and Raw Foods in 2010, winner of the Bronze Medal “Living Now” Award in the category of Health and Nutrition from Independent Publishers. Karen authored Raw Vegan Recipe Fun for Families: 115 Easy Recipes and Health Tips for Energetic Living, published January 2014. Her upcoming book Autism Reversal: How to Stop Its Cause will be published in 2019.
Karen teaches both live and online Plant-Based and Raw Food Coaching Programs in addition to her work with private clients through skype and phone, worldwide. She hosts her Love Raw Food and Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica every February, her Women’s Health Retreat in April and November in Rhinebeck, New York, and a Foraging Retreat in Durango, Colorado in May.
Karen is the Founder and Director of the Raw Vegan Coaching Certification Course which begun in 2015. Students have participated from countries worldwide.

Karen has been a pioneer presenter at The Woodstock Fruit Festival annually since 2011, and was a featured speaker at the 2013 and 2014 Raw Living Expo, where she was awarded the “Peer-to-Peer Award for Service to Children’s Health,” “The World Peace Award,” and “Best of Raw Professional Simple Raw Food Chef with 5+ Years Experience.”
Karen travels throughout the United States and abroad delivering her impassioned message about the benefits of a raw food lifestyle and raising healthy families. She has presented for universities, schools, health institutes, expos, associations, organizations and festivals.
In June 2012, Karen was the keynote speaker at the “Health Congress Flowers of Life,” south of Moscow, organized by the Russian Association of The Raw Food Movement and Naturopathy. She has been a featured speaker for many vegetarian, vegan, and raw vegan festivals, such as the annual London Vegfest, the Toronto Raw Vegan Festival, the New York City Vegfest, The Seed Experience, the Toronto Veg Food Fest, and the Delaware Rehoboth Beach VegFest.
Karen has been a contributing author of articles for Vegan Health & Fitness Magazine, VegWorld Magazine, Vibrance Magazine, Eternity Watch Magazine, Hippocrates Health Institute Healing Our World Magazine, Fruit-Powered Digest, Get Fresh Magazine, and Super Raw Life Magazine.
